Confetti & Co is an event decoration and personalised gifts business based in Kotu Silo-Manjai, Banjul, The Gambia. We operate under the trading name Confetti & Co and can be reached via Instagram at @confetti.co.gmb or by WhatsApp at +220 797 8518. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our services. This includes:
- Contact details โ your name, phone number, and email address (if provided) when you submit a quote request on our website.
- Event details โ event type, date, venue, theme, guest count, and any specific requirements you share.
- Communication records โ messages exchanged via WhatsApp or Instagram when you contact us directly.
- Cookie preference โ a record of your cookie consent choice, stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as payment card numbers, health data, or government identification.
How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and prepare a bespoke quote.
- Coordinate the planning, setup, and delivery of your event or order.
- Send you updates, confirmations, and reminders relating to your booking.
- Improve the quality and relevance of our services.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable โ including for visitors from the European Economic Area who are covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) โ we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance โ processing is necessary to fulfil a service you have requested.
- Legitimate interests โ responding to general enquiries and improving our business operations, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent โ for any optional cookies, where you have given explicit consent through our cookie banner.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate our website and communicate with clients:
- WhatsApp (Meta) โ used for direct client communication. Your messages are subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Instagram (Meta) โ used for enquiries, portfolio sharing, and general communication. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts โ our website loads fonts from Google's servers, which may collect limited technical data such as your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any advertising networks, analytics services, or tracking pixels on this website.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary:
- Enquiries (no booking made): up to 12 months, after which records are deleted.
- Client booking records: up to 5 years, for legitimate business record-keeping purposes.
- WhatsApp and Instagram messages: retained within those platforms in accordance with their own data retention policies.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access โ request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction โ ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure โ request that we delete your personal data, subject to any overriding legal obligations.
- Objection โ object to our processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests.
- Restriction โ request that we limit how we use your data while a complaint or objection is being resolved.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via WhatsApp or Instagram. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and aim to respond fully within 30 days.
Cookies
This website uses a single item of browser local storage to remember your cookie consent preference. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Google Fonts, which we load from Google's servers, may place cookies on your device. You can manage or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Declining cookies will not affect your ability to use this website.

Agreement
By engaging Confetti & Co for any service โ whether by submitting a quote request, paying a deposit, or confirming a booking via WhatsApp or Instagram โ you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Confetti & Co.
Our Services
Confetti & Co provides bespoke event decoration, balloon artistry, personalised gifts, and business branding services for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, graduations, kids' events, and corporate occasions. All services are individually tailored and subject to availability.
Quotations are provided following an initial consultation and are valid for 14 days from the date issued. Prices may be revised if the scope, venue, guest count, or theme changes after a quote has been issued.
Bookings & Deposits
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total agreed price. Until the deposit is received and acknowledged, your date is not secured and may be offered to another client.
The remaining balance is due no later than 3 days before your event date. Failure to settle the outstanding balance by this deadline may result in cancellation of your booking without a refund of any amount already paid.
Client Responsibilities
As a client you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete event details โ including date, start time, venue address, theme, and colour palette โ at the time of booking.
- Ensuring that venue access is available to our team at least 2 hours before the event start time to allow for full setup.
- Obtaining any permissions required by your venue for the installation of decorations, including balloon arches, hanging installations, floral arrangements, or adhesive fixtures.
- Notifying us at the time of booking of any venue restrictions, including prohibitions on helium balloons, open flames, or adhesives.
Confetti & Co accepts no liability for issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client, or from restrictions not disclosed at the time of booking.
Setup & Collection
Setup times are agreed in advance. Our team will arrive at the scheduled time and complete the installation to the standard outlined in your quote. Minor variations due to venue conditions or material availability may occasionally occur; we will always communicate these in advance where possible.
Any rental items included in your package โ such as stands, frames, signage boards, or props โ must be returned to Confetti & Co in good, undamaged condition within 24 hours of the event ending, unless a different timeframe has been confirmed in writing. Lost, damaged, or unreturned items will be charged at their full replacement value.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation charges are as follows:
- 14 or more days before the event: the deposit is forfeited; no further payment is required.
- 7 to 13 days before the event: 75% of the total agreed price becomes due.
- Fewer than 7 days before the event: 100% of the total agreed price is due.
All cancellations must be made in writing via WhatsApp message or Instagram DM and acknowledged by Confetti & Co. Verbal or telephone cancellations will not be accepted as valid notice.
Amendments
Requests to amend the agreed scope of work โ including changes to date, venue, theme, colour scheme, or decoration style โ must be submitted at least 7 days before the event. Amendments may result in a revised quote. We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee the availability of additional materials or staffing for late requests.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to fulfil obligations where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, sudden serious illness, or critical supply chain disruptions.
In such circumstances, Confetti & Co will offer to reschedule your event at no additional charge, subject to availability. If rescheduling is not mutually possible, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion.
Photography & Portfolio
Confetti & Co reserves the right to photograph completed setups and use these images for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. If you do not wish for your event to be featured, please notify us in writing before the event date and we will respect your request without question.
All photographs taken by Confetti & Co remain our intellectual property. Clients are welcome to share our images on social media provided clear credit is given to @confetti.co.gmb.
Limitation of Liability
Confetti & Co's total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, loss of business opportunity, or loss of profit.
We take all reasonable care with our materials and decorations; however, we cannot be responsible for damage caused by guests, third-party vendors, adverse weather, or environmental conditions beyond our control.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Republic of The Gambia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Gambia. We will always seek to resolve any dispute amicably before resorting to formal proceedings.

Our Commitment
Your satisfaction matters to us deeply. Every item we create and every event we decorate is crafted with care, skill, and genuine passion. If something is not right, please tell us โ we will always do our best to put it right.
Personalised & Custom Items
Because our products are made specifically for you, personalised and custom items cannot be returned or refunded once production has begun. This includes:
- Engraved glassware, keepsakes, and frames
- Custom-printed party boxes, labels, and signage
- Personalised gift boxes and hampers
- Bespoke graduation caps, sashes, and certificates
- Money bouquets and custom floral arrangements
- Any item featuring a name, date, message, or logo
We will always send you a proof or confirmation of the personalisation details before beginning production. Please review this carefully โ once approved, we cannot accept responsibility for errors in information provided by you.
Event Decoration Services
Deposits paid to secure an event date are non-refundable in all circumstances. For cancellation charges beyond the deposit, please refer to the Cancellation Policy in our Terms & Conditions above.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your event decoration on the day of setup, please speak directly with our team on-site. We want the opportunity to address your concern and make adjustments before we leave.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a gift item or product that arrives damaged in transit or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt and include:
- A clear photograph of the damaged or incorrect item.
- Your name and the date of your order.
- A brief description of the problem.
Where the fault lies with us, we will either replace the item at no cost to you or issue a full refund โ whichever you prefer. We will always aim to resolve damage claims within 3 business days.
Exchanges
For non-personalised, standard items (such as pre-made balloons, ribbon, or off-the-shelf decorations) we will accept an exchange if reported within 24 hours of delivery. The item must be completely unused and in its original packaging or condition. We do not charge a fee for exchanges where the issue is on our side.
How to Request a Refund or Return
To begin a refund or return request:
- Contact us via WhatsApp (+220 797 8518) or Instagram (@confetti.co.gmb).
- Provide your full name, event or order date, and a clear description of the issue.
- Attach photographs if the issue involves damage, defect, or an incorrect item.
We will acknowledge your request and respond with a resolution within 2 business days.
Refund Timeline
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7โ10 business days using the same payment method originally used. We will confirm with you once the refund has been initiated and provide any relevant reference number.
